Me: Stories of My Life by Katharine Hepburn
Funny, moving and provocative, Me is Katherine Hepburn's long-awaited memoir
With characteristic gusto and candour, Hepburn reflects on her childhood and youthful misadventures. She tells us about the ups and downs of her career, her early experience in the theatre and her rise to stardom. She describes her warm and sometimes stormy relationships with David Lean, Howard Hughes, Cary Grant and Louis B. Mayer. And in a book pervaded with love - love of parents, love of family, being loved and loving - she tells us about the love of her life: Spencer Tracy.
'She writes as she has lived - with magnificent disregard for convention ...the narrative crackles like a machine-gun fired from the hip ...' - Bryan Forbes in the Sunday Express

A vintage book with obvious wear. Has some damage to the cover including scuff marks, scratching and minor creasing, but integrity still intact. There is a slight lean to the spine. No writing in margins, no underlining and highlighting of text. There is minor creasing, and water damage throughout the book which has caused a light staining and wrinkling throughout small parts of the first-half, and most of the 2nd half of the book, but no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text. Still a solid and readable copy.
